The Super IOM course is intended for those who operate and manage iDirect satellite communication products and networks for the government and military. Students will gain a comprehensive overview of Network Operations from the iGT perspective and provides the required skills needed to install, operate and manage an iGT satellite network. The course also offers the intermediate level skill set necessary for implementing and managing many of the higher level iDirect feature sets. The features covered during this course are those current features that are available in the iDS and Evolution software platforms.

The Super IOM course was developed to be an intermediate level course that builds upon the foundation gained from the standard IOM. What makes this course different than the standard IOM is that students will gain that “next level” understanding of the iDirect hardware and software platforms and explore the more advanced features available on a standard iGT network. Through the use of the iGT platform, students will complete a multitude of hands-on exercises to reinforce the structured course material.

Students are evaluated during the course to ensure that they attain a level of understanding that enables them to operate and diagnose issues on all iGT equipment.
