iGT offers a number of technical training classes for the installation and support of an iGT network. There are four main classes held in various locations worldwide, and an online training course for the installation of remote terminals, offered with the support of the Global VSAT Forum.
The four training classes have a specific curriculum designed to educate a partner or end customer on how to install, manage and support an iGT solution. Depending on the level of responsibility an employee may benefit from attending a single class or all classes.
The four main training classes are:
1. IOM – Installation, Operations and Maintenance is the first class recommended for personnel responsible for the basic operation and management of iGT satellite communications products and networks.
2. Super IOM – This secondary-level class provides more in-depth training on implementing higher level feature sets of the iGT platform. This course is specifically desingned for those operating and maintaining government or military platforms.
3. Advanced IOM – This course is intended for personnel responsible for assisting with second-level escalations for the iGT satellite products and networks. It will cover topics including Advanced RF and Data communication concepts and their relevance to the iGT system.
4. Group QoS - This course provides an in-depth understanding of how the iGT Group QoS feature works including configuration, management and troubleshooting.
